The patient-friendly version of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Care of Girls and Women with Turner Syndrome" is full of information. Learn what is most important to prioritize and when to do it.

Common Learning Disabilities and Impairments in TS

Despite IQ or karyotype there are common impairments and learning disabilities related to Turner syndrome (TS) that may negatively impact educational and work success. Concepts such as rigid thinking, big picture processing, and visual perception will be covered.

Behavioral Diagnosis and Differences in TS

Despite IQ or karyotype there are common behavioral challenges and disorders related to TS. A brief summary of common impairments and interventions will be covered. Most people attending this session will experience a-ha moments, a few giggles, and relief.

Hearing Management in TS

Hearing and ear issues are common in TS and often affect quality of life. Dr. Johnson will review common TS related hearing impairments and ear conditions in children and adults with TS. She will review recommended interventions and address common questions associated with TS and hearing such as how to deal with recurring ear infections and excessive wax buildup.

Karaoke Party!

Join the fun and sing your favorite tune or cheer on others. Everyone will get a chance to sing, and you can jump from room to room to hear multiple people sing at a time.

Congenital Heart and Blood Vessel Problems in Turner Syndrome: What We Know and Update on Current Research

Presenters will offer a n overview of the heart and blood vessel conditions in TS. The presenters research trainees will present information about their current TS research related to the causes of bicuspid aortic valve and thoracic aortic aneurysms.

Hormone Replacement Therapy, Thyroid Issues, and Diabetes in TS

In TS, endocrine issues may occur in childhood, adulthood, or both. It is important to monitor and treat common issues timely.

Insights and Advice Throughout the TS Journey

A panel of TS experts, those who experience TS firsthand, will offer their most important advice to their "younger" self. What may be most important- health, relationships, self-confidence, education, employment or something else?

Coping with Anxiety in TS

If you struggle with anxiety, you are not alone. Identifying normal anxiety versus intense anxious feelings will help you determine the best ways to cope.
