Scholarship Opportunities

The scholarship opportunities below are open to qualifying members of the Turner Syndrome Society.

Due to the current situation of Covid 19, scholarship opportunities will be on hold until further notice. 

General Guidelines:


  • Only paid members of the Turner Syndrome Society may apply for conference, college, or life enrichment  scholarships. Membership scholarships are open to all applicants.

  • ​Scholarships are made available by fundraisers and donations.

  • An individual may receive one scholarship per year.

  • Scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply for the same scholarship the following year.

Life Enrichment Scholarships for Girls with Turner Syndrome

For Current TSSUS Members

  • Applications are accepted throughout the year

  • Approved applicants receive up to $200 to offset the cost of a life enriching program

  • The Turner Syndrome Society defines "life enrichment" as a positive program or event for an individual with TS. Programs submitted for consideration are not limited to TS-related events. Life-enrichment scholarships may be used for camps, pottery lessons, a high-school end-of-year class trip, music, arts, or theatrical tuition fees or gymnastic classes, to name a few.

Turner Syndrome Society Membership Scholarship


TSSUS offers 20 individual membership scholarships per year.

  • applications are accepted throughout the year

  • covers the fee for 1 year ($45 value)

  • recipients may only receive this scholarship one time

  • recipients are not eligible to apply for any other scholarships

College Scholarships for Women with Turner Syndrome

For Current TSSUS Members


The Turner Syndrome Society offers up to $500 in college scholarship funds to approved applicants.

  • Applicants must be a current TSSUS member to in order to be eligible.

  • Each applicant must submit a letter of acceptance.

  • Applicants attending a 2 or 4-year college, university, vocational/technical school, or online program will be considered.

  • Scholarship recipients who make the Dean's List may renew their Turner Syndrome Society membership for 1 year free!

  • Applications will be accepted from June 1st through July 15th.

National Turner Syndrome Conference Scholarship

For Current TSSUS Members


TSSUS members are eligible to apply for scholarships to help offset the cost of attending the annual Turner Syndrome National Conference.

  • Applications will be available online from November 1, 2019 - February 15, 2020.

  • All applications must be submitted online, faxed, or postmarked by February 15, 2020.

  • This scholarship will cover one conference registration.

  • All other costs such as hotel and travel are not included in the scholarship.
