This resource group is hosted by the OUHSC Turner Syndrome Clinic (TSC) at the OU Children’s Endocrinology Clinic in Oklahoma City.
Our TSC is a comprehensive effort to provide medical care and support to more than 65 Turner Syndrome patients in the area. A variety of disciplines come together to provide cutting-edge medical care, including endocrinology, genetics, behavioral health, audiology, and ENT, plus consults with cardiology, nephrology, urology, and reproductive endocrinology.
Dr. Jeanie Tryggestad and Dr. Steven Chernausek are the attending physicians for TSC—both have special clinical and research interest in Turner Syndrome. Dr. Kathryn Jeter is a pediatric psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Section of General & Community Pediatrics. She is actively involved with all our clinics and resource groups. Amanda Patterson, BSN, RN, is our clinical coordinator, nurse educator and our resource group leader.
We are thrilled to be involved with Turner Syndrome Society of the United States and look forward to hosting resource and support groups as part of our clinic. For more information about this group, please contact Deborah Rios at deborah@turnersyndrome.org.

Group Leader
Kimberly Walker
This group will be open to all of the TS community in the OKC area!
Our leader, Kimberly, is a woman with TS and has always wanted to offer a group for women to provide them with a community and help them know they are not alone. She is a special education teacher and currently writing her doctoral dissertation. The hope is to have events quarterly so that women and families can come together in a place they feel they belong to.
